Alisha is a writer and researcher who discovered UX design in 2017 and hasn’t looked back. She sees strong design as telling a story: who we are, what we do, and what we offer the world. Through her work as a UX Strategist at P’unk Ave, she works to uncover the unique qualities that an organization brings to the world, and translate that through design strategy.
Prior to joining the P’unk team, Alisha studied English and Economics at the University of Pittsburgh, moved abroad to write and study in Oxford, U.K., and worked and volunteered for a number of nonprofits in Philadelphia focused on arts and culture, gender and racial justice, and domestic violence. She has worked with several artists and entrepreneurs on developing their websites and brands, and solidified her UX knowledge through an apprenticeship with Thinkful.
You can catch Alisha riding her bike, practicing Spanish, or endlessly sorting through racks of secondhand clothes.
